Sleepless Night and A Call to Action…

So, I couldn’t sleep last night…  I just tossed and turned and got up a zillion times to jot down some of the many thoughts racing through my mind.  Sleepless nights are some of my most productive times!  Usually these sleepless moments are a good indicator of thoughts that should not be ignored… Finally, at 3:30 am I jumped out of bed more than ready for my day to begin…  The culmination of my most recent sleepless night and thoughts have brought me to this first blog post.  A call to action for everyone in this great country to join with me and make a difference in the lives of fellow Americans that have a need.  Please, please, please contribute whatever you can;  time, services, money or whatever you are able to in order to help each other out  in this dismal economy that is breaking the  American spirit down–one unmet need at a time!

We can’t wait for the government to fix America, WE need to take action and we need to take action now!!! Our families, friends, neighbors, co-workers and fellow Americans are struggling in so many areas.  It’s time that we stop pretending that someone else will step in and help or that the democrats and republicans will put their differences aside long enough to ever make a profound difference in any American’s life.  The time is NOW!!!  The ball is in my court and yours too!

This country is full of true needs…  Are you in?  Please email me if you have a product or a service that you are willing to donate to  fellow American’s that can use a break during this economic crisis that we are faced with.  If you aren’t in a position to donate but can trade services or products, that would also be extremely helpful to scores of people in need.  If you are well-off financially or just have some extra money that you are willing to donate to your fellow American’s,  those that have no idea how they are going to pay a utility bill, put gas in the car or fix a toothache, etc., etc., etc., then please, please, please, email me!!!   dhumbard72@gmail dot com

My initial plan is to start putting those that have honest needs in contact with the people that can help meet those needs.  Please share this with ALL of your contacts and in ALL of your social networks.  Let those in need know that they have a place to go to hopefully get some help and let those that can help know that there is a place to connect with those that desperately need them.  Thank you!!!
